One Week Review: Neutrogena Complete Acne Therapy System

Normally I wouldn't do a review on a product so early but as this one promises to clear your acne in one week I figured it would be good to post a one week update.

First off, this did not get rid of my acne in one week. I'm going to keep using it for a while cuz, it may have just been a bad week being stressed out and everything. :) But, if your looking for a super quick fix I don't think this is it.

It comes with a Salyic Acid Skin Polishing Cleanser, Acne Control Lotion (Benzyol Peroxide) and an SPF 15 oil-free lotion

Cons: I hate the consistency of the cleanser.. I'm not really sure how to describe how it feels other than jello-y. Ick.
Didn't work as quickly as promised

Pros: Did reduce some acne
The lotion makes your face feel tight.. which I like. Is that weird? lol

I'll have a more in depth one later if it actually works and especially if it doesn't : )

Have you tried this?

Which acne system or products do you use?

DIY: Folder Holder

Folder Holder! (Can also be used as magazine holder, paper holder, newspaper holder or notebook holder)

What You'll Need:
Cereal Box
Glue
Scissors
Old magazines and/or Scrapbook paper
Marker

Step One:
Make a diagonal mark on both sides (front and back) of the cereal box and a horizontal line across the front to make sure they match

Step Two: Cut along the lines you marked. It should look like this when its done:

Step Three: Tear out magazine words and pictures that inspire you or go with a theme. (Tip: Use a brightly colored page as a "background" for all the other pics and words to go on ) Or, use scrapbook paper to create a fun and unique design.

Step Four: Collage it! Mine ended up looking like this! (Sorry for the super bad pic quality, it was night and when I used flash it just made everything white :P )

There you go! You now have a fun, easy and cheap one of a kind holder! Enjoy!
p.s. I'm using mine for class folders and notebooks (Separate holder for each)

DIY: Leave In Conditioner

This may be one of the easiest yet best DIY projects ever! It works just like an expensive leave in conditioner and its sooooo much cheaper!

What You'll Need:
-  Small Spray Bottle
- Whatever conditioner you happen to be using
- Water

What You Do:

All you do is put 1 part conditioner for every 3 parts of water. So say you put one cup of conditioner then you would put three cups of water (just for explanation purposes I definitely did not use that much, I have a tiny bottle :P) .

After you have the water and the conditioner in the bottle, put the lid on and shake it up! :)

How to Use:

I use this everyday. You can apply it to wet or dry hair, but try not to apply it right before you straighten because it will make your hair damp. All you do is spritz some onto your locks and brush through.

Pros:
This is a whole lot cheaper than going out and buying an expensive leave in conditioner and it works just as well, if not better.

What do you think?

Let me know if you try this out!
