A Butt, a Couch and an Eel: Met Gala 2013 Worst Dressed!

If you're confused about what the Met Gala is, read my last post first! :) 

Now, here are my picks for the Worst Dressed of the evening, in order! 

My main complaints? People looking like they should be cast as Finnick, and clothes that don't fit! 

All together now! (I made it extra large, even though it goes over a little bit).

1. Madonna- While I give her props for taking the punk theme literally... Nobody wants too see her 50+ year old butt! Put on some pants! 

2. Kim Kardashian- Not even she can pull off looking like a couch. Who knows, maybe she was pulling a Slughorn right before the party. 

3. Katy Perry- I'm all for calling clothes an art form, but this is taking it a little too far.

4. Beyonce Knowles- I may get crap for this but I don't care. I think it looks like she's wearing a tapestry. And the matchy matchyness is killing me. 

5. Miley Cyrus-Hey look mom, I caught a electric eel! 

6. Mary Kate Olsen- Too much fabric! 

7. Kristen Stewart- I'm okay with the chest up and knees down, but the whole middle part is just a hot mess. 

8. Florence Welch-Just.. no. 

9. Sarah Jessica Parker- This could be okay but what the heck is on her head?!

10. Anne Hathaway- Oh with the feathers already! I appreciate the dress, minus the feathers at the wrists.Makes her look like a cracked out Cruella DeVil

11. Aubrey Plaza- Look Miley, something for you to catch in your giant fishnet! 

12. Rita Ora- This could be cute, but to me it just looks cheap (which I'm sure it wasn't). 

13. Nicki Manaj- Its not that the dress is bad... its that it makes her look frumpy. 

14. Elle Fanning- The makeup... oh the makeup. I don't like the dress either, I think its too boxy and distorts her figure. But, its not that bad.

Met Gala 2013's Best Dressed

Hello Beauties!

I'm taking a break from TV Tuesday to give my BEST DRESSED from the Met Gala that happened last night! For those of you that don't know, the Met Gala is when the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute kicks off its Spring Exhibit and it raises money for the Museum.

This years theme was Punk: Chaos to Couture

I made the pic "extra large" so you can see it, even if it goes off the edges a bit! 

1. Nina Dobrev- She was hands down, the best dressed at the Met Gala. She looks punk, she looks couture and she's  wearing pants! 

2. Emma Watson- How sexy does she look while still looking high end? And those shoes! Excuse me, Miss Watson? Can I have your life? 

3. Dakota Fanning-Man, has she grown up! This outfit looks totally gorgeous on here and I love the detailing on the cut out!

4. Blake Lively- I love this for so many reasons. Take note, this is feathers done right! 

5. Emmy Rossum- With all of the black and red's going on, she stood out in white! I love this and I think she looks like an angel just floating around. This fits her like a glove. 

6. Taylor Swift- You have to hand it to this girl, she can rock tons of different looks and be on the best dressed list for any of them. What got me about this outfit was the small, intricate detailing.

7. Jennifer Lawrence- She looked classy and punk with the help of the intricate designs on her dress, her shoes and her fishnet veil. Its all in the details people! 

8.Jessica Alba- This dress is fabulous. Period. 

9. Jennifer Morrison- This is so flattering on her and really captures the punk and couture theme. 

10. Emilia Clarke- I don't know if you can see it in this picture, but the intricate detail on the bodice is what bakes me love this dress, that and its bold red color. 

11. Cara Delevingne- Simple, yet elegant with punk detailing with the studs? A+!

12. Kate Beckinsale- Its the makeup and accessories that really sell this look, but I also love the asymmetrical hem line on the dress.

OOTD: Cobalt and Coral

Hey there!

Its May! Woohoo! 

I'm thinking about doing an April favorites video but, for now, I'll stick with an OOTD for Wear It Wednesday! 

So, this video is just for you guys! I kept trying to take pics but they were just awkward so, I decided just to film a mini OOTD! It's slightly less awkward than the pics. 

Shoes are by Rebel and I picked them up at Shoe Carnival

Headband is actually a belt that came with that peplum dress I was wearing last week! It was a super small belt so I just put it on my head and made it tighter with some bobby pins! 

Necklace is homemade by my grandma! 

Shirt is from American Eagle

and 

Dress is from Envy (I think!)
